Sapele: Frank Nujimen (aka Sky Pop) set to give cash empowerment to over 300 persons from 11 Wards

Councillorship aspirant of ward seven at the just concluded election, Mr Frank Nujimen has announced that he will hand out over N3 Million naira on Sunday December 12th, 2021 at Ikanone Estate Ugberikoko road to widows, youths and indigents persons in Sapele local government area of Delta in his continuous bid to put smile on the face of the less privilege.
The programme tagged “Giving back to the electorate" is aim to provide financial support for rural and peri-urban widows, women, within the Sapele local government area.
It will also support existing poverty alleviation and women empowerment programmes that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, had been organising across the 11 wards of Sapele.
Speaking on the programme on Tuesday December 7th, 2021 after a visit to his office, Nujimen in an outreach meeting with some members of his Ward said: “This empowerment is very much needed in Delta State, bearing in mind the present state of the economy and it is our intention to use it as a means of bettering the lives of Deltans.”
He added that apart from financial support, the Widows, vulnerable and youths will get, he has set down plans to also include skill acquisition programmes for young girls, women, provide access to better reproductive healthcare and increase access of women and girls to all levels of education in the near future.
"Over 200 widows, 50 youths and over 70 indigents will benefit from the empowerment programme he added.
Poverty remains a reality for many citizens. I feel it is time I embark on a little support to enable them to support their families in that little way he said.
Mr Frank Nujimen is known for his community empowerment initiatives and his annual widows empowerment which is now in its fourth year and has grown popular among widows in the vicinity.
Those expected at the program include PDP Chieftains, Councillors from the various wards, ward chairman and women leaders, youths, women, beneficiaries among others.
