He said that the best approach in resolving conflicts was through peaceful dialogues and urged communities in the state to adopt peaceful dialogue in resolving issues affecting their cordial neighbourliness.

He commended the visiting leaders of the community for not  handling the issues affecting them alone, but thinking it wise to present such before the state government for through resolution.

He advised them to come back with all the relevant documents relating to the issues brought before him at their convenience in no distant time so that the matter could be resolved amicably.

The aggrieved members of Ugbeogungun Community, led by their leaders, Rt Hon. They told the commissioner that they were very peaceful people and host to multinational oil companies and other sisters communities which were later involved in litigations  arising from sharing formula and other issues.

They explained that they decided to seek the assistance of the state government to ensure parties involved in the matter  obeyed the ruling of the customary court which had not been vacated among other court related issues still pending.
