Old boys of Eziafa Grammar School on Sunday January 30th, 2022 prevented a fire incident that would have completely raised down three class rooms of the school buildings. The fire incident which occurred as a result of illegal bush burning was quickly averted by the timely intervention of Chief Eugene Inoaghan Executive Chairman of Sapele local government area. Chief Eugene Inoaghan an old boy of the Eziafa Grammar School who spoke to newsmen said that he received a distress call from the vigilante group that were on patrol that one of the School buildings at Eziafa Grammar School was on fire and he immediately called the Delta State and Seplat fire fighters who swung into action immediately. A group of bandits has written to the Christian community in Zamfara State, Northwest Nigeria to close churches or risk ferocious attacks. The Zamfara State police command who confirmed the threat to SaharaReporters, said, “We are on top of the threat.” Spokesperson for the command, DSP Mohammed Shehu, told our correspondent that the police were aware of the threat letter.
