We will see to your issues - Owoso tells Delta State Barbers Union Ethiope West Chapter
The Chairman of Ethiope West Local Government Area, in Delta State, Pastor Nelson Oghenedoro Owoso has assured the members of the Delta State Barbers Union, Ethiope West Chapter of his cooperation in reaching their goals adding that he holds them in high esteem.
Owoso, why addressing members of the Union, who paid him a courtesy call in his office on Tuesday 26th, 2021 in Oghara, said he was impressed to see men engage in vocational skill rather than taking to crime.
"We thank God that you can use your job to feed your family and pay your bills, there is no joy than this, some of our educated youths that have learnt this skills are doing well, so by the grace of God I will look into this issues" adding that the council will not hesitate to do the little they can to help them.
Earlier in their speech, the Union leader led by Comrade Eloho Orivri had seek partnership with the council to generate revenue while rebranding the profession and Barbers. They also appealed for equipment for trainees at the end of their training for graduands.
The barbers while pledging their support to the Owoso led Administration, commended Governor Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa for the incentives given to barbers, saying that they have Over 700 barbing shop in Oghara, Jesse and Mosogar.
The union also presented a set of barbing kit to the council boss to congratulate him on his emergence as Chairman Ethiope West local government area
Others who were on the entourage include Arenu Daniel (vice Chairman) Ajiyen Philip (State provost) Anufa Charles (Treasurer) Akpomedaye Ben (PRO), Akpomiemie Dave (Oghara branch chairman).
Others are John Henry, Akan Friday, Osiki Trust and Ahmed Wasiu as Task force.
