Agbarho Kingdom Palace Sets Ablaze By Unknown Arsonists

The palace of Osuivie of Agbarho kingdom in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, have been set ablaze by a yet to be unidentified persons suspected to arsonists. Though the report was sketchy, it was gathered that parts of the palace was set ablaze at about 3am on Tuesday. According to sources, “The palace main hall, a guest house, a staff quarter that houses NYSC Corp members and the window of the traditional ruler’s apartment were among areas allegedly burnt. “There were also attempts to set the car of the Osuivie ablaze as petrol fumes were perceived in some parts of the palace. Speaking to newsmen, the palace guard, Mr. Friday Sabulefe, revealed that the arsonists, numbering three, broke into the palace, held him down and issued threats to him at gun point. Alma mater: Old boys Prevents fire from completely raising down Eziafa Grammar School Buildings

Old boys of Eziafa Grammar School on Sunday January 30th, 2022 prevented a fire incident that would have completely raised down three class rooms of the school buildings. The fire incident which occurred as a result of illegal bush burning was quickly averted by the timely intervention of Chief Eugene Inoaghan Executive Chairman of Sapele local government area. Chief Eugene Inoaghan an old boy of the Eziafa Grammar School who spoke to newsmen said that he received a distress call from the vigilante group that were on patrol that one of the School buildings at Eziafa Grammar School was on fire and he immediately called the Delta State and Seplat fire fighters who swung into action immediately. Speaking further, the Chairman said that the fire fighters arrived at the school and began to douse the fire. Executive Assistant on Communications (EAC) to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State, Barr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, has declared his interest to represent the good people of Ethiiope East Local Government Area in the Delta State House of Assembly, come 2023.
